Just got done visiting the crystal. Got myself a fancy new power, one you'll actually be able to help me with.

What kind of power is it?

[neighsaying]

[ He debates on waiting to explain until he can swing by the cabana; he has to swing by the farm first, though, make sure the materials are at least in place for the obstacle course. ]

I wished for one of the blue potions and drank it. I made sure I wished for all of the abilities, too.

... Which may have been a slight mistake because now I have the full potential and no experience with it.

[ oh. that's neat. and surprising. ]

You're making me sound like some grand expert.

Well, if I'd rather learn the ins and outs of it, you're who I'd choose.

Plus, you're the one I'm most worried about healing.

[ Not that Dolph gets injured often, but without Levi he's always a little worried about having someone immediately on hand. ]

It's useful.

Levi's the one who convinced me to get it. Early on.

With Levi gone, I wanted someone else in our immediate circle that knew how to heal besides you. I know it doesn't work on the user as well.

It makes sense. And it was a good idea.

Were you worried?

[neighsaying]

In this kind of place? Always, a little bit.

You helped me when I was really hurt; I'd kick myself if I wasn't able to do the same for you in the future.

You do plenty. You've never fallen short.

[ but. that being said. dolph understands completely. it is for jean's peace of mind. he won't begrudge that. ]

Have you used it yet?

[neighsaying]

I haven't. Doesn't seem like anyone's stubbed their toe or scuffed a knee around me yet, either.

[ The joking tone comes through. ]

I'm sure one of those things can be arranged.

Don't go hurting yourself for my sake.

[ He is, however, done checking up on the farm and will be making his way to the cabana now. ]

[ FROWNING but he can't argue the point. He knows Dolph won't seriously harm himself at least.

Speaking of, when he reaches the cabana he knocks once, to be polite before he uses the key to let himself in, calling out for Dolph. ]

I'm in the kitchen.

[ not with a knife or anything. he wouldn't go that far, not without checking with jean first. instead, he's just waiting patiently, though dolph does rise up to wrap his arms around jean and give him a kiss. ]

[neighsaying]

[ Jean hums into the kiss, always pleased to see Dolph. He raises a hand to cup his cheek, breaking away from the kiss with a fond smile. ]

And what did you get up to while I was talking to a rock?

[laserhawk]

Not much. Counting up some shards and wondering what to do with them, in fact.

[ he always has too much and never any good ideas on what to spend it on. he'll have to give it a think. he tilts his head to press a kiss to the centre of jean's palm. ]

Do you still want to test it? Your power.

[neighsaying]

Between you and Eren, you guys could probably build your own city at this point.

[ It's (mostly) a joke. He's distracted by the kiss to his hand; a frown appears on his face again, but after a moment it disappears and he nods.

After all, a little cut (or scrape) is nothing in the scheme of things. ]

Yeah. I don't think the crystal messed up, but it's always worth checking.

I'll be careful about it.

[ he pulls away just to grab a small knife. And all he does is give himself a little nick on the index finger. it bleeds a little, but clearly nothing to fret about. ]

[neighsaying]

I know, I trust you.

[ And he knows that Dolph knows etc, but it's worth repeating. He watches Dolph give himself a small cut, not even the worst he's seen (thanks, Eren).

He reaches out, taking the hand in his, but after a moment he decides to be cheeky. He pictures "healing" the wound but instead of touching it with his hand, he presses a kiss to the finger.

Thankfully, with a faint aqua glow, it seems to work. ]

[ his cheeks darken, despite himself. it heals nicely and dolph smiles. ]

See? Not even a scar.

[neighsaying]

As simple as that, I guess.

[ He's sure he'll still need to practice with the power, but he's not inclined to keep asking Dolph to hurt himself. With the obstacle course, he's sure he'll get a workout soon.

Instead, he presses a quick kiss to Dolph's mouth. ]

Now I can literally kiss your hurts away.
